Pool noodles for
children’s swimming lessons

It is very important for children to learn to swim, as it is not only fun but also boosts their self-confidence and improves their safety when they are in and around water. Becoming familiar with water at an early age helps them overcome their fear and enables them to become good swimmers later on. Children feel safe, strong and fit, and, confident in their own abilities, can deal with dangerous situations in the water more easily and quickly. Swimming saves lives – their own and sometimes those of others.

On 21 June, Frank Kramer (Key Account Manager for Public Swimming Pools and BADU Technik Coach) visited Dominik Vasen, the managing partner of Bädercoach, and presented 500 pool noodles on behalf of SPECK Pumpen Verkaufsgesellschaft GmbH.

SPECK
firmly believes that water safety should be promoted. We are therefore delighted to support Bädercoach in this mission. The pool noodles not only bring fun to the pool, but also help children in swimming lessons to learn to swim and build confidence in the water.

Bädercoach is a service-oriented company offering a wide range of services for swimming pool operators. Its services include: comprehensive consultancy,
e-learning sessions, on-site training, recruitment, event organisation and the management of swimming facilities.

Bädercoach’s core
mission is to ensure safety in swimming pools. This naturally includes providing sound swimming instruction for children. Bädercoach aims to achieve this goal through the swimming courses it offers.

This is
particularly important at the moment, as the number of children who cannot swim has risen dramatically. Last year, Bädercoach was able to offer swimming courses at three swimming pools where it also manages operations. A total of seven beginners’ courses and one course for advanced swimmers were held at the outdoor pools in Schnaittach, Thalmässing and Lichtenau.
