FAQ
Frequently asked questions from industrial companies
SPECK pumps in operation: reliable delivery, efficient running, and back up and running quickly.
How quickly can I get spare parts?
We stock original parts for standard model ranges and can supply them at short notice – even for older pumps.
Can you replace an existing third-party pump?
Generally speaking, yes. Based on your operational data, we will select a suitable SPECK pump and check the installation dimensions and connections.
How do I take the risk of cavitation into account during the planning stage?
It is crucial that the suction and inlet conditions match the pump’s NPSH requirement. Factors such as the fluid temperature, inlet pressure and pressure losses in the suction pipework must be taken into account. We can assist you in selecting a suitable pump and assessing your installation situation.
Does SPECK provide support with maintenance and repairs?
Yes. Our service team is here to help with technical queries and repairs. You can also use our service partner search to find a contact for industrial technology. Please report a fault via the online service form, describing the fault and the operating conditions as accurately as possible.
How can we reduce the energy consumption of our pumps?
A design tailored to the process and a control system adapted to your requirements can prevent unnecessary energy consumption. Where requirements vary, the pump output can, for example, be adjusted using a suitable speed control system. Together, we will assess which solution is best suited to your operating conditions.
