For building services engineers

Designed in compliance with standards

From pressure boosting to fire-extinguishing systems: SPECK supplies standard-compliant pump technology, complete with all the design data and documentation specified in your tender.

A modern detached house with a spacious garden, a swimming pool and panoramic mountain views under a clear sky.

What your planning really needs

In building services engineering, the standard determines whether the work is accepted. These four points will ensure your project runs smoothly:

Design in accordance with standards
Pressure boosting in accordance with DIN 1988-500, drinking water separation in accordance with DIN EN 1717: solutions that pass the final inspection.
Complete documentation
Performance curves, dimensional drawings, data sheets and tender documents – ready for citation and delivered on time.
The right system
The pump, control system and plant are designed to work together – not simply pieced together individually.
Advice on special cases
Cramped technical rooms, tall buildings, specific requirements: technical advice that thinks ahead.

Why planners use SPECK

FAQ

Frequently asked questions from planners

Building services with SPECK: designed in accordance with standards, fully documented, clearly specified in the tender documents.

Do the pressure-boosting systems comply with DIN 1988-500?

Yes. Our pressure-boosting systems are designed in accordance with DIN 1988-500 – featuring speed-controlled multistage centrifugal pumps and the relevant certification for acceptance.

Do you offer solutions for drinking water separation in accordance with DIN EN 1717?

Our NTA series network isolation systems enable the safe separation of drinking water from downstream non-potable water systems in accordance with EN 1717. In addition to compact standard systems, we offer bespoke solutions tailored to the requirements of your project.

Where can I find documentation for planning and tendering?

Our SPECK Select design software provides you with performance curves, dimensional drawings, product descriptions and tender specifications for the relevant pumps. You will find supplementary operating instructions and catalogues in the download section for each product. This enables you to document your product selection and incorporate it into the tender.

How does SPECK Select help with the design?

You enter your parameters and receive the appropriate system, complete with characteristic curve and operating point – reproducible and documented.

Do you design fire-extinguishing systems as well?

Yes. With our fire-extinguishing systems (e.g. Feuercell), we provide technical fire protection for buildings – including advice on specific requirements.
