We support the future

In our society, it is precisely the youngest and most vulnerable who need support in the form of strong helpers. The SPECK Pumpen Children’s Fund Foundation, established by Hermann Speck, has been in existence since 2000 and has, ever since, been providing targeted support to children and young people in need and from socially disadvantaged backgrounds in the region through a wide range of projects.

For SPECK, commercial success and social commitment go hand in hand. We are mindful of our social responsibility. As a company with deep roots in the Neunkirchen am Sand region, SPECK has been actively involved for many years, supporting social and educational institutions through donations, sponsorship activities, corporate volunteering programmes and the SPECK Pumpen Children’s Fund Foundation. This foundation supports sustainable projects designed to tackle the problems faced by children and young people. In this way, as a family-run business, we live up to our commitment to social engagement within society.

Children’s Fund Foundation

Seeing the happy faces of my two children inspired me to set up the SPECK Pumpen Kinderfonds Foundation (a trust under the umbrella of the Kinderfonds Foundation) in 2000, with the aim of bringing a smile to the faces of many more children. The foundation is a cause very close to my heart and its purpose is to promote the future, health and equal opportunities of children and young people. In Germany and our region, too, the number of children in need is rising steadily. Through the SPECK Pumpen Kinderfonds Foundation, we support a wide range of projects, focusing in particular on initiatives ‘on our own doorstep’. Our support is provided without red tape, immediately and sustainably – wherever help is needed most urgently.
