Upon retiring, a couple from Bavaria fulfilled their dream of having their own swimming pool – one that is uncompromisingly comfortable and fully automated. The brief: a pool system in which daily water maintenance runs automatically and which operates with optimum energy efficiency. SPECK supplied the counter-current system, smart pool control system and an energy-efficient pool pump.

A swimming pool tailored entirely to your own preferences
When they retired, the couple knew one thing for certain: now was the time to have their own swimming pool. The freedom to choose when to use it, being able to keep fit at home and state-of-the-art control systems had long been on their wish list. They wanted a system where day-to-day pool maintenance would be as fully automated as possible.

Fully automatic, from the cover to maintenance
WellnessManufaktur, based in Weihenzell, was responsible for the planning, engineering and construction. The 9.5 × 3.7-metre one-piece pool, made from carbon-reinforced ceramic and fitted with a skimmer, is particularly pressure-resistant and stable. A fully automatic cover, clad in stone slabs and featuring a seating area, blends harmoniously into the overall design.
By minimising evaporation, the cover reduces water consumption by around 80 per cent and retains heat within the pool. Complemented by a counter-current system, an energy-efficient pool pump and a smart control system, the result is a pool that saves time and operates with optimum energy efficiency – allowing you to enjoy your pool with a clear conscience.

Everything at your fingertips via the app
The BADU Blue Pro not only controls the measurement and dosing of chlorine and pH maintenance chemicals, but also the lighting and pool cover – all conveniently via an app. The BADU JET Turbo Pro counter-current system delivers up to 350 m³/h across seven power settings, ranging from aqua aerobics to fitness training. As the pool pump, the BWT Eurostar HF Eco VS (an OEM product from SPECK) ensures optimum efficiency with its various operating modes. Thermaton liquid insulation further enhances heat retention.
